Faith-related
As you might expect of any public relations specialists, Bob Little
Press & PR tells the truth as you would want it told. However, what you
might not expect is that the business' partners - Bob Little and Helen
Little - have lengthy Christian pedigrees.
After three years living at the South Wales Baptist College (1973 -
76), where he began a lay preaching career which continues to this day,
Bob achieved the Baptist Union Diploma in Religious Knowledge and
became a nationally recognised lay preacher with the Baptist Union of
Great Britain in 1979.
From 1998 to 2010,
he served as a trustee of the
Beds & Herts
Churches Media Trust
an ecumenical charity providing communications training for
churches, serving as chairman in 2004/05
In 2008, he was appointed as the Central Baptist Association's
representative on the governing board of the pan-denominational body,
Workplace
Matters
In addition, he has broadcast a number of 'thoughts' on BBC Three
Counties Radio and Radio Verulam; helped to co-present, with Elspeth
Jackman, 'Faith Alive', Radio Verulam's weekly magazine programme, and
he conducts courses for churches on effective media
relations.
He has also had many years experience in promoting the church at which
he and Helen are members: Marshalswick
Baptist Free Church, St Albans.
In addition, from 1992 to 2001, he
captained the church's cricket team to 63 victories (from 87 matches,
eight drawn) including victory in the National Christian Cricket Cup in
2000 and runners-up spot in 2001. He also captained the Baptist Union
of Great Britain's national cricket team in seven matches (won four,
drew two) from 1998 to 2001.
Helen has served as a deacon and as Sunday Club leader at Marshalswick
Baptist Free Church.
From January 2000 to December 2008, Helen and Bob co-edited 'Church
Chat', the Marshalswick Baptist Free Church magazine.
