Addition to Tata Interactive Systems' UK salesteam
Sunil Mehta, formerly of Saffron Interactive, is the latest addition to
the UK sales team at the global e-learning producer, Tata Interactive
Systems (TIS). Mehta, who has spent the last six years or so within the
e-learning market in the UK, has become a TIS account manager to look
after a range of new clients in the telecoms, hospitality and legal
sectors.
A sales professional who holds a degree in applied physiology from the
University of Sunderland, Mehta initially worked in the pharmaceutical
industry.
He entered the e-learning sector when he left Monsanto to join Wide
Learning. After working in the UK office of the Singapore-based
e-learning producer, ICUS, Mehta moved to Saffron Interactive.
"Sunil Mehta has valuable knowledge and experience of the UK e-learning
industry," commented Alan Samuel, head of UK operations at TIS. "We are
delighted that he will be able to help us not only service a range of
new clients who are coming to TIS but also to develop new opportunities
for us to demonstrate the cost-effectiveness of our range of e-learning
approaches - which include Simulation and Story-based Learning Objects
(SimBLs/StoBLS) for formal e-learning and electronic performance
support systems (EPSS) for those who prefer an informal approach to
learning."
