Trainer1 supplies e-learning infrastructure to the South London and
Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust
Trainer1, one of the UK’s leading independent e-learning specialists,
has won the contract to supply The South London and Maudsley NHS
Foundation Trust with its e-learning infrastructure.
The Trust has named Trainer1 as a ‘supplier of choice’ for e-learning.
Trainer1 is supplying the Trust with an e-learning infrastructure which
includes authoring tools and a learning management system.
The Trust provides mental health and substance misuse services to
people from Croydon, Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham, and substance
misuse services in Bexley, Greenwich and Bromley. It also provides
specialist services to people from across the UK.
“The e-learning market appears to be undergoing some significant
changes – with e-learning becoming part of the accepted
‘training/learning’ mix rather than a separate discipline – but the
market appears to be buoyant, with increasing sales helping to fund
further investment and development activities,” commented Trainer1’s
Neil Lasher.
“Increasingly, organisations seem to be moving much of the ‘standard’
e-learning development in-house, to their subject matter experts. This
means that they are increasingly looking to professional developers,
such as Trainer1, to offer advice and guidance, facilitation, coaching
and mentoring – on tools and techniques.”
