Trainer1 revises Institute's e-learning materials

The Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM) has commissioned Trainer1, one of the UK's leading independent e-learning specialists, to update e-learning materials relating to its professional qualifications programme - leading to both 'diploma' and 'certificate' level qualifications.

According to Trainer1's Neil Lasher: "Some two years ago, Trainer1 was commissioned to produce a significant volume of e-learning material for two of the IDM's widely respected marketing qualifications. We are now being asked to revise and update these materials in the light of current marketing trends and developments in practice."

Neil Morris, the IDM's deputy managing director, commented: "It's important for the overall health of 'UK plc' that, in today's fast-moving business world, we give as many people as possible the opportunity to learn the techniques of direct, data and digital marketing - and that means making these available via e-learning materials as well as via more traditional methods of tuition.
