EdTrIn, the publicly listed platform for online education (NSX: ETG), has signed a non-exclusive Memorandum of Understanding with the UK-based eLearning247 Limited, a provider of collaborative course authoring tools, generic course content and bespoke course development.

The agreement focuses of the companies’ establishing a partnership agreement for the delivery of global e-learning systems.

Among other things, the agreement means that eLearning247 will licence EdTrIn and its content production partners to use eLearning247’s nimble®Author for the development of e-learning content. In return, eLearning247 will promote EdTrIn’s learning management system (LMS) to its customers as a way of accessing new and exciting markets.

Neil Hyde, eLearning247’s founder, states: “EdTrin are set to become the YouTube of eLearning with nimble®Author playing an integral role. It’s a natural fit for two companies who sit ahead of the curve and seek to disrupt the eLearning industry.”

Graeme Coomber, EdTrIn’s CEO, commented: “EdTrIn is delighted to be partnering with one of the leading providers of intuitive and cost-efficient course authoring tools for the rapid production of e-learning content. This collaboration will play an important part in EdTrIn’s strategy to provide next generation education, training and innovation solutions for students, businesses and Governments.”
