Recently, the US-based eLearning Guild published a free digital book called ‘339 Tips on the Implementation of an LMS or LCMS’. The book contains what its publishers claim to be ‘an amazing collection of tips from hundreds of your professional colleagues’.

Comment: Of course, an LMS and LCMS are increasingly important weapons in an HR director’s armoury – for example in providing the statistics on which the ROI of a training initiative is measured – but will this book really be as inspiring as the similarly named books, ‘101 Uses of a Dead Cat’, ‘101 More Uses of a Dead Cat’ and ‘Uses of a Dead Cat in History’, by Simon Bond and published, to great acclaim,  just over five years ago?
