The learning content management solutions (LCMS) provider, eXact learning solutions, has signed a distribution agreement with Tribal.

The agreement will see Tribal – a global provider of products and services to the international education, training and learning markets – supply the eXact Learning Content Management System (LCMS) and digital authoring tools to UK customers.

One of the world’s top players in LCMS solutions, because of its blend of technological excellence and steady commitment to e-learning standards, eXact learning solutions supports organizations in delivering learning and knowledge content through online and mobile learning content management solutions and services. Designed to support a ‘Lean Learning Organization’, the eXact learning Suite is at the forefront of technology and is backed by the company’s two decades of experience in providing software solutions for e-learning.

The eXact learning LCMS is designed to support the creation and management of digital learning resources while increasing authors’ productivity, saving time and money and protecting the investment already made in existing learning materials.

The LCMS uses a template approach to authoring, allowing professional content to be created quickly. It also uses responsive design to facilitate learner access to materials on computers, tablets or mobiles.

Its easy-to-create pre-learning assessments enable the creation of tailored learning programmes that are automatically geared to each individual’s capabilities.

The eXact learning LCMS is already used by multinationals including VW, Bankia, Cegos and e-Learning for Healthcare/NHS (e-LfH). These organizations use the LCMS’s configurable project management and workflow tools, allowing content to be easily adapted to complex business processes and govern the collaborative authoring, review and authorisation of the learning materials typical of large organizations.

Tribal will deliver the eXact learning LCMS as a secure cloud-based service, giving customers the convenience of ‘anytime anywhere’ access, without the burden or expense of digital asset management and back-up routines – and thus keep management overheads and costs to a minimum. In addition, a range of customised templates will be produced to significantly reduce the time customers will need to spend designing content, thereby ensuring a rapid return on investment through the efficient delivery of new learning programmes for staff.

Federico Dondero, eXact learning solutions’ Sales Manager, commented: “We’re delighted to be working closely with Tribal to service the UK market.

“Our LCMS should help UK-based organisations to collaborate in authoring professional content and create learning content both online and offline. It also enables workflow-based content management, allowing training managers to use the LCMS to provide management data relating to the entire learning content lifecycle.

“You can also carry out content localization which, via the LCMS’s localization engine, produces both e-learning and m-learning content – all of which meets accepted international standards,” he added. “Moreover, the LCMS enables you to deliver multi-channel content – online, offline and via mobile distribution channels – based on the learners’ learning preferences.”
