The Italy-based digital learning content management business solutions producer, eXact learning solutions, is expanding its operations in North America. Among other things, this involves opening of a new North American headquarters office in Washington DC.

Having been Europe’s leading producer of learning content management systems (LCMSs) for some years – and having also established strong sales in the Middle East, Singapore, Malaysia and the rest of the Asia Pacific region – the Genoa-based company is embarking on a sales and marketing campaign to raise the profile and brand recognition of its products throughout the continent of North America.

To head up this branding and sales campaign, eXact learning solutions has appointed Art Hughes as its new Sales Manager for the United States and Canada. Based in Orlando, Florida, he joins eXact learning solutions from a senior sales role with TeacherMatch/ eSchool Solutions.

Art, who has substantial experience in enterprise software, education, and training, said, “Throughout my career, I’ve focused on addressing customers’ needs, providing long-term value, and becoming a trusted resource for my clients. That has enabled me to consistently meet my corporate, team, and personal objectives while delivering profitable solutions for both my clients and my company.”

Valerio Torda, eXact learning solutions’ CEO, said, “Although eXact learning solutions is a successful global company, it’s conscious that its share of the LCMS market in the USA and Canada could be greater. Moreover, we believe that we provide a valid high-tech alternative to those of our US-based LCMS competitors.

“The campaign starts at the e-learning industry’s largest annual international exhibition – DevLearn, taking place in Las Vegas from September 30 to October 2,” he added. “Not only is eXact learning solutions one of the sponsors at this year’s event but – in booth number 411 at the event – we’ll be unveiling a fundamentally redesigned mobile app for all main portable devices and platforms, including iOS, Android and Windows.

“Other initiatives during the campaign include a series of Road Shows around the US, to allow more learning and development professionals to experience the user-friendly power and potential of the eXact learning LCMS and its related suite of products and services,” said Valerio.

Federico Dondero, eXact learning solutions’ Sales & Marketing Manager, added, “Our LCMS – now in its 14th version – allows for rapid content development through collaboration between subject matter experts (SMEs) and courseware designers, regardless of their location or specialization.

“Furthermore, we’ve redesigned our mobile app – eXact learning Mobile. Now able to run on all main portable devices and platforms, including iOS, Android and Windows, this offers users standards-based, single-source content management, delivery and tracking – helping organizations to improve their key business processes and their human resource capital.”

In addition, eXact learning solutions has established the eXact learning club, an online forum for its customers to discuss issues, including best practice, with fellow users. Learning club members will be able to access product updates and get news of new releases before these are made generally available.
